Ok so I finally did it. I broke down and got an Apple Laptop. Specifically I bought the MacBook, here are some of the specifics.

• 13.3-inch widescreen display
• 1280 x 800 resolution
• 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo
• 1GB memory
• 80GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA hard drive
• SuperDrive (DVD±RW, CD-RW)

And best of all …. It’s WHITE! No seriously, this is the best machine I’ve ever had. It just runs so smooth, it doesn’t take forever like windows does to load up a bunch of stuff. It’s just really really cool, and I’m very glad that I bought it.
One thing that did catch me a little off gaurd, was that all the software for this thing is really expensive. I mean expensive as hell. To get photoshop and Illustrator on my machine, it nearly cost me $1200. Realize that’s more than the laptop itself cost. But I can’t complain, I now have one kick ass machine ready to do all the things I like to do.
It comes with a load of software already, which for me was important. I got garageband and iPhoto, those two alone are just great programs. With garageband I can start podcasting right away, and it’s going to be getting a ton of use.
I’m just getting use to the Mac OS, but so far so good, I can’t really see something that I don’t like. This thing really is user friendly. Maybe I’ll give it to my mom to use and see if she thinks it’s easy. If you hear from someone that they don’t want to use a Mac because it’s so hard to get around, then they just aren’t open minded enough to get something better. Even the keyboard to this thing is more comfortable that most of my windows machines. And, they don’t come in white with an illuminated Apple showing through on the back. As you can tell I’m in love and I have to say, it’s really exciting.
