Windows Vista Release Date Announced

Microsoft announced that their newest operating system Windows Vista is going to be released on January 30, 2007. Check out this link to find out which version is right for you. I don’t know what the price tag for this puppy is going to be, but I think it’s going to be worth it. I’m a Apple user, but for the pc applications that I still must use, why not get the latest and greatest from Microsoft.
Here’s what we do know:

  • It will have bugs
  • It will be much more visually stimulating
  • It will be harder to get around because it will be different from XP
  • It will be better than previous versions of Windows.

So I say go and get it when it comes out. I know I’ll switch from the Beta I’m running now to the full version. Plus it comes with Media Center, and since I record and watch most of my TV on my computer, it’s a natural fit.
