• 70% have published a book on their topic to which they blog
• 55% have owned a business in the area which they blog about
• 73% have at least 5 years of experience in the area they post about

People who read blogs have the following traits:

• 61% are age 30 or older
• 63% are male
• 53% reside in the United States
• 65% have a bachelor’s degree or higher
• 43% work for a business with fewer than 100 employees
• 55% will read this posting while at work

Blogging is a great tool to express one’s idea’s and thoughts about any topic. If there is a topic one might be interested it, you can bet that there is blog about it. Technorati does a great job of tracking blogs and allows for easy searching of tags which a blogger can relate to a each post. As blogging evolves to the next level, new and interesting types of blogs are starting to appear. Not only is there written content, but there are video blogs and podcasts.
So load up that RSS reader and search for your favorite piece of content. You won’t be disappointed as to the number of related topics you might find.
