5th Graders Still Smarter

March 1st, 2007 · No Comments

Ok, so it wouldn’t be a fun show to watch if all the questions were easy, and if they found contestants that were like Ken Jennings (The guy from Jeopardy). But come on, I don’t think the kids have gotten one wrong yet. If you don’t know that more of Canada borders the US than Mexico, then we have a problem. The contestant last night had her forth grade son in the audience, and he must have been really proud of mom, knowing that she walked away for $100,000, and didn’t know that 200 decades made up two millenniums. That’s a pretty good payday for knowing very little about elementary subjects and things you have already learned many years ago. So tonight there is more “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader“, and I’m just as excited as I was the first two nights. My only problem now is what happens when Friday rolls around and I don’t have this show to watch. You mean I’m going to have to go find some other show to be cynical about? Oh well, I promise I won’t disappoint you, I’ll find something.
