Bonds hits a deep shot to center, Grady Sizemore is on his horse tracking this one down. It could be…… Sizemore climbs the wall….. Yes, caught by Grady Sizemore as he climbs the wall in center field to take away a home run from Barry Bonds. So that’s pretty much the excitement of my night last night as I played “The Bigs” for about, well the amount I played doesn’t matter, lets just say I played and got my fill of baseball for one night. So how did I climb the wall in the Wii version of “The Bigs”? Read a little lower and I’ll tell you. 2K Sports has seriously put out one of the most fantastic games of all time for the Wii. I was, and still am a fan of Tiger Woods 2007 for the Wii, but “The Bigs” has action like I’ve never seen before in a video game. Anyway, back to the reason your here, how did I climb the wall in “The Bigs”.
So first of all you need to run down the ball in the outfield, luckily I was playing with Cleveland and using Grady Sizemore, so the athletic skill of Sizemore may have helped out a bit. So running down the ball is easy, with the Wii remote and the nunchuck, move both controllers in a drumming motion. The faster you move them the faster you’ll run. Once you get close to the wall, hold both controllers above your head and watch your player climb the wall and reach for the ball. If your timing is perfect and the batter didn’t quite get the entire bat on the ball, you may just snag the ball and take away the home run.
I had fun with it and so can you. And don’t forget to create that rookie player so you can be the MVP of the World Series.
