Ok, so you’ve loaded up the Bigs and you have played it a few times. Mostly likely you create a player and put him in your favorite position on your favorite team. So far so good. Now the next thing you need to start doing is getting that player some points so you can juice him up with all the batting and fielding points possible. It takes a ton of points along the way for you to be a real superstar. So here’s a little tip that you can use to help you get a few more points for your rookie.
For every hit, RBI, Home Run, Stolen base, etc. you get more points at the end of the game, and to do that you must use the Power Hit at the right time. Say you just struck out the side and with the last pitch you filled up your turbo bar. Well looking at your batting order, it doesn’t make strategic sense to use that Hit Power right away with the very first batter, get a few runners on base so you can maximize your RBI’s and Home Run totals. What you need to do is wait until either the bases are loaded or your rookie steps up to the plate. Always use the turbo if it’s for your rookie, unless of course you need it later in the at bat to get a few base runners on and tie the game. But try as you might to only use the turbo for your rookie.
One thing to be aware of, is when your opponent uses their turbo, and you’re sitting there with a full turbo bar as well, and they either strike you out or break your back with a home run, you better enable your power pleasure or your going to loose it. All that hard work of filling up your turbo bar is going to be lost if you don’t use it at the same time as your opponent.
