Barry Bonds the Home Run King

August 7th, 2007 · No Comments

Well he finally did it. Barry Bonds finally smacked his 756th career home run. Poor Mike Bacsik, he will forever be known as the guy that gave up the historic home run. I guess there are worse things to be known for, so it really isn’t that bad. We can only hope that A-Rod breaks his record in a few short years so we don’t have to hear about Bonds again. I’m sure the guy that caught the ball, or better yet , survived the massive dogpile in the center field seats, is one instantly rich man. It will be interesting to see what he does with the ball. Looks to me like he has several options.

  1. Give it back to Bonds
  2. Sell it to the highest bidder
  3. Hold on to it to increase his chances for burglary and possible death
  4. Sell it back to Barry Bonds for an undisclosed amount of money and make him admit to using steroids

My personal favorite is #4, but I doubt that’s going to happen. So if he’s a smart man he’ll go with #2 and live to tell his kids about the day steroids made him rich.
