KROQ LA Invasion

They made us wait until 7:15 on Monday to hear the announcement, and the wait was worth it. This year there will be no Inland Invasion, their moving it to the Home Depot Center and not having it at the Hyundai Pavilion in Glen Helen, San Bernardino. For any KROQ fan this is a blessing, although September in Southern California is hot no matter where you are, it’s going to be a bit cooler in Dominguez Hills. The line up for the Weenie Roast was pretty hard to beat, but KROQ had done a pretty good job in finding some bands that are equally as good as any band on the Weenie Roast bill. The bands for this years LA Invasion are:

Chris Cornell
Cypress Hill
Perry Farrell’s Satellite Party
Hot Hot Heat
Against Me
Paramore

The concert is Sept. 19th and tickets go on sale Saturday 8/18/07 at all ticket master locations. Prices will range from $35 - $65 - $85. Of course if your a street team member you’ll get a chance to get in on the pre-sale, but don’t hold your breathe, they usually sell out so fast your head will spin. Good Luck and see you there.
