A politician in Lincoln Nebraska, Ernie Chambers stated that “God made terroristic threats, inspired fear and caused widespread death, destruction and terrorization” and is therefore suing God. Chambers a self proclaimed agnostic, says that he simply wanted to point out that anyone can sue anyone. I guess he proved himself wrong, because nobody knows how to supena God. Ernie has served 39 years as senator, longer than anyone else ever in the state of Nebraska. Some people believe that terms limits were voted in to get rid of him.
As it turns out, it appears that God has responded to the lawsuit. One of the filings seems to have dropped in from the heavens. Signed by “God,” it argues the defendant is immune from some earthly laws and the court lacks jurisdiction over God. St. Michael the Archangel is listed as a witness.
Some people just don’t get it, but I would really like to find out how they serve God a summons. Because I have some things I need to talk to him about as well.
