It may not be apparent, but I am a rather large Cleveland fan. Naturally last night I was tuning in to see if my Indians could finally beat the Yankees this season. As it turns out, not only can they beat the Yanks, they can crush them. However, that’s not my point for this post. As I was watching the game on TBS, they did an interview with Lebron James, barely looking up from the work I was doing, I caught what I thought was Hollywood playing tricks on me. Lebron, who grew up in Ohio, plays for the CLEVELAND Cavaliers, was WEARING A YANKEES HAT.
Surely I must have been mistaken, this is a guy who gets his paycheck from the very same fans that were witness to him dissing their team. Either Lebron is so caught up in himself that he thought this might be a good idea, or the Cavs need to trade him to New York where he can be with people of his own kind, like Isiah Thomas.
I now can no longer cheer for the Cavs and especially Lebron. I say trade him away, get someone who at least is smart enough to get out of town before he dons his Yankees gear. Don’t watch SNL this week as he’s the host, in fact don’t buy his shoes or vote for him in the All-Star game. I use to think the Yanks were public enemy #1, now it’s LeBron, the ex-Local Hero.
Lebron can Kiss my A$$!
