Well last week was better than the week before, but not so good that the casino’s in Vegas will be calling me any time soon to make predictions. My overall record is now 92-54 which means I qualify for… nothing. So this week I need to split the picks into two posts, this one will be for Thanksgiving Day, and the one to follow will be for the remaining Sunday games. So here’s what’s cooking on Thanksgiving:
Packers at Lions: Packers. Green Bay is on a roll this season and those receivers that Favre has are pretty good. Lions aren’t bad I just don’t think they are as good as the Pack, but it should be a good game.
Jets at Cowboys: Cowboys. Jets are terrible this year and they got lucky beating the Steelers last week. Now that their fluke is over we can get back to football.
Colts at Falcons: Colts. Although Manning has nobody to throw to anymore, the defense of Atlanta has even fewer weapons. On offense Atlanta is terrible, so I’m glad this one isn’t on TV.
So that’s it for the Turkey day games, more later on the rest of this week for the NFL.
