I gave in the other night and sat down and watched “Dancing with the Stars” with Yvonne. Mostly the show is a real drag and I don’t get what all the excitement is about. With that being said, I did notice a similar and somewhat confusing “Idol” kind of moment on this show. Not that I watch American Idol that much either, but both of these shows do something that I find odd.
You know at the end of the vote off show, when the looser is chosen, and after they are informed of their dreams being ruined, they are asked to sing themselves off the show? Well on DWTS, the loosing couple has their farewell dance. Yeah, well maybe I’m the only one who thinks this, but after their voted off, why do we want to see the worse couple dance again? Just like I don’t want to hear the worse singer sing again. That’s the whole point of voting them off, WE DON’T WANT TO BE BOTHERED WITH THEM ANYMORE!!!
On Survivor the voted off person doesn’t have to worry about cold, sleepless nights anymore, or eating bugs. No they go grab a shower, brush their teeth and sleep in a comfortable bed with sheets. But we don’t have to see them anymore, and that’s exactly why they were voted off.
