Where in the world?

This week I find myself in hot muggy Chicago. Yes every year I end up making a few trips to Chicago to pow wow with co-workers in an attempt to set the content management world straight for my employer. In all I would have to say it’s one of my more enjoyable trips that I get to make each year, and this year was no exception. As always the information I will come away with and the work that needs to be done is inline with my thinking. However, this trip there seemed to be something a little different than the usual 4 day stay. For some reason I seem to fall asleep in my hotel. Maybe it’s the fact that I’ve been watching ghost stories with Michael during lunch. No probably not, but then again who know, even though I’m not a big believer in the supernatural.
Maybe it’s the fact that no matter how low I turn the temperature in my room, I can’t seem to get comfortable with the temperature. Having lived about half my life in the Midwest, I still can’t get used to the humidity that seems to paralyze me each and every time I travel back here in the summer. Having to only walk about 3 blocks from my Hotel to the office, I thought I was going to have to bring a change of clothes just so I could relax while inside the office building. Walking out of my hotel almost caused instant perspiration. Seriously, and I’m not even as fat as I used to be. Oh well, I guess it’s just something I have to live with, but only for a few days. I will have to say this about Chicago, I sure do love that deep dish pizza. I can’t get enough of that stuff while here, and I may even need to go again for my last night here. I’ll have to update you on that tomorrow.
